DIAmate

The Diamate project was a collaboration between researchers at RMIT and Sydney University’s Charles Perkins Centre. Our team was tasked with creating the concept for a game intended to educate and assist diabetes type 2 patients in managing their illness, with a specific focus on promoting physical activity.



I developed a pair of characters as a part of the pitch, with a focus on the characters being modular so that players could eventually customise their own avatars.


Working with endocrinologists from the Charles Perkins Centre, we developed a design concept for a mobile game which would reward players for meeting exercise goals and sharing meal plans with other users.
